Home Builders Blitz 2012 is a partnership between Habitat for Humanity affiliates and the local building community to make sure more families have a chance to own a simple, decent house.  In 2008 the Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines and local builders came together to build two Habitat homes in five days!  Those homes were purchased by two hard-working low-income families that were able to give their children a chance at a brighter tomorrow.  Later this year GDM Habitat will again partner with the community to provide two families the opportunity to achieve their dreams of homeownership. 

How can you help?

The HBA of Greater Des Moines is giving all Home & Remodeling Show attendees the chance to help fund the construction of these Builders Blitz homes!  Since the Home & Remodelers Show is FREE to the public, the HBA wants you to consider making a donation to Habitat to help build these homes!  If you are interested a container will be available by the turnstiles to accept your generous donation.
