Panel Build

These are a great way to get your entire organization onboard with a Habitat build. We come to you, and by the end of the day, you and your team will have built all the walls for a new Habitat home.

Panel Build

A Panel Build is a fun and unique volunteer experience offered by Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity. During a Panel Build a sponsor has the opportunity to build the walls to a Habitat home right at their place of business (usually in their parking lot). Habitat supplies the wood, other building materials, tools, safety equipment, and professional supervision. The sponsor supplies the space, five individuals to serve as leaders, and the volunteers.

Panel Builds can engage 50-100+ people at their place of business, worship, or school in building the interior and exterior wall panels of a Habitat home in a seven-hour time period.

These events promote team-building and volunteerism opportunities for sponsors as well as providing sponsorship funding which helps Habitat serve more families.
